LIVE MUSIC AT GIGI'S

ROD PICOTT on Saturday, May 22, 2004 at 7:30 pm

Americana singer/songwriter Rod Picott will be playing his own blend of music, best described as a mixture of roots rock with alternative country. Rod, a childhood friend of Slaid Cleaves, has songwriting credits with both Slaid and Fred Eaglesmith. His latest album, "Stray Dogs", has a couple of guest harmony vocalists, Slaid Cleaves and Alison Krauss, that appear on two tracks.

Gigi's Bakery & Café is located at 550A River Street in Santa Cruz, California. Doors open at 6:30 pm for food and seating.

AUDREY AULD on Saturday, June 5, 2004 at 7:30 pm

Australian singer/songwriter Audrey Auld, who now resides in Bolinas, California, will be playing her own style of alt-country music. Her love of roots music is evident, as are the influences of Lucinda Williams, Loretta Lynn and her Australian mate Kasey Chambers. Audrey has shared the stage with Buddy Miller, Fred Eaglesmith, Tom Russell and opened for Keb Mo, Junior Brown and Paul Kelly.
